OUR PASTOR
Rev W. Steve Hart was born on July 18, 1949 in Dawson, Georgia to Mrs Lillie Mae Johnson and William Hart.
Rev Hart met the Lord in the year 1971 in Coconut Grove Florida. In 1990 he Married Minister Debra Gibbs, their children are: Steve, Stephanie, Mark, Kimberly and Tamyiya. They have 15+ grandkids.
The Lord calls him to ministry in 1997 under the tutelage of Rev T.W. Mccloud of Peace Missionary Baptist Church.
The vision of pastoring a church was given to Pastor Willie S. Hart in November, 2002. In December, 2002 the Lord revealed the name of the church to him by way of scripture, Ephesians 2:20, Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 10:25 and Matthew 16:18.
In 2003 Rev Hart founded the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church. Rev Hart has AA in Ministry, BA in Religious Education and a Masters Degree in Ministry.
OUR CHURCH
On September 7, 2003, Cornerstone had its first Worship services at the Pastor’s home, during these services approximately 20 individuals joined in membership. Members were introduced to our motto which is “We are a Servant of the People, To the People and For the People”. As Pastor has stated, we are a church with PEOPLE in mind.
The first Sunday in April 2004, the Lord blessed Cornerstone with a facility to worship in, we thank God for Ms. Linda Angepone, allowing us to use her facilities on Sundays for our Worship Services. Due to the closing of the Center, we had to move our Worship services back to the Pastor’s home.
On September 9, 2005 God continued to bless Cornerstone we celebrated our 2nd year anniversary. Mr. Alphonso Richardson of Richardson Chapel allowed us to use the Chapel for Church Services from April 2004- June 2006.
In June of 2006, we purchased the building that we are currently having Services.
We are a Non-profit 501(C3) Organization
